The Opportunity

The Director of Implementation spearheads the prioritization and implementation of new projects and programs, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets. This includes setting implementation goals and milestones, coordinating with other corporate departments, delegating duties, mapping out plans, and developing strategies to optimize implementation and execution. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer this role will also:

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with each department within the operations group to prioritize, create and roll-out projects that improve the efficiency of community operations.
  • Oversee operational communication strategies in partnership with home office and leadership to optimize and streamline communication flow to and from communities.
  • End to end creation of tools to implement and track project execution and results on a quarterly basis - develops the “playbook” for effective program roll out and execution- including communication plans, guide the development of training content and documents for field teams, establish monthly/quarterly routines and sustainment of standards and be accountable for desired outcomes.
  • Function as air traffic control for all programs and projects impacting the community operations team- maintains a master workload planning calendar and acts as the central gatekeeper for all field projects and initiatives to support optimal execution and productivity.
  • Provides visibility to leadership on all projects and change initiatives and identifies potential risks, conflicts and synergies to optimize execution and long term sustainment.
  • Works in a consultative capacity with functional owners and key stakeholders to identify optimal rollout plans, helping to think through considerations, risks, etc.
  • Lead the implementation and tracking process for each project that is agreed upon for roll-out, including budget oversight and reconciliation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify process bottlenecks and define solutions for process improvements.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on timing of implementation and execution around each project that is rolled out.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to home office leaders understanding the impact of initiatives on resident experience, productivity, and team member experience.
  • Assists with the coordination of all pilot projects and measuring success and recommendations for scale.
  • Tracks projects post launch to identify ongoing opportunities to ensure sustainment and integration into our operational practices and ongoing meeting of KPIs.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Experience implementing projects and priorities across multi-site operational groups that are across large geographic regions
  • Work with efficiency, and achieving measurable results
  • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to identify process gaps, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
  • Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve operational processes
  • Leadership experience in hospitality and/or senior living
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to travel as required to support assigned projects/initiatives
  • Proactive mindset, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and through leading outcomes for cross functional teams
