Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mid-Level Corporate Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, with experience in handling a wide range of corporate transactions, compliance issues, and regulatory filings. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality. Experience in real estate and healthcare a plus but not a requirement.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal and regulatory research in a variety of areas pertaining to the operations of the company.
  • Prepare and maintain records of corporate entities, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and filings at the local, state and federal level.
  • Assist in the preparation, submission, and management of applications for senior living licenses, including compliance and renewal processes, and handle correspondence with regulatory agencies.
  • Assist with the drafting, review, and negotiation of corporate contracts, such as service agreements, vendor contracts, leases, and employment agreements, as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in laws and regulations affecting senior living facilities, and corporate governance.
  • Handle routine administrative tasks related to the legal department's operations.

Requirements:

  • High attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a paralegal role, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.
